Questor Technologies, a leader in environmental emissions reduction, required a transport solution for their Q-Series incinerator units. These units eliminate harmful pollutants such as H2S, methane, and VOCs on-site, supporting sustainable oil and gas extraction. To optimize deployment, Questor needed a specialized trailer system that could efficiently transport and position their incinerators across multiple locations in North America.
The Challenge
Traditionally, moving incinerator units required cranes and additional on-site crews, leading to higher costs and logistical complexities. Questor Technologies sought a solution to streamline the transport and setup process, reducing reliance on heavy equipment and additional labour. With multiple unit sizes and a need for quick redeployment, they required a trailer system that offered adaptability, efficiency, and safety.
The Solution
Working closely with Questor’s engineering team, we engineered a series of custom trailer systems that revolutionized the transport and deployment of Questor’s incinerators. Designed to back up, lift, lock the unit in place, and tilt down for easy positioning, our innovative trailer eliminated the need for cranes and additional support equipment on site.
Each trailer was designed with a custom-engineered lifting and locking mechanism to secure the incinerator safely. Three different trailer sizes were also designed to accommodate various unit configurations for their Q-Series.
The Results
The custom trailer solution significantly reduced operational costs for Questor Technologies by minimizing the need for cranes and additional crew members. With improved mobility, their Q-Series incinerators can now be deployed quickly and efficiently across North America, ensuring reliable environmental emissions control. The multiple trailer sizes provided a flexible and scalable solution, making transport more cost-effective and reducing logistical challenges.
